Fracking Update - September 2016

Seismic Testing - Sheffield
Is anyone living in the Sheffield Mosborough ward? Frack Free South Yorkshire has informed us that there is a strong likelihood of Ineos planning to carry out seismic testing. This is a precursor to drilling and exploring for shale gas, which will lead to fracking. It is Important to talk to Mosborough ward councillors and your MP to make them aware. It would also be worth asking the candidates in the forthcoming by-election for their views on fracking. Councillors for the Mosborough Ward are:

David Barker (david.barker@sheffield.gov.uk) and
Tony Downing (tony.downing@sheffield.gov.uk).

Councillor surgeries are:
2nd & 4th Saturday in the month 10-11am at Crystal Peaks Library;
2nd Thursday 10.45-11.30 am St Mark's Church, Mosborough, S20 5AF;
2nd Friday 13.30-14.30 pm at the Community Centre, Westfield, S20 8ND.

Please share this message with friends living in the Mosborough ward.

There are a number of events in the area if you'd like to find out more.
